Lynette DelFavero - Syracuse Police Department


Captain Lynette DelFavero is the Commanding Officer of the First Platoon Patrol Division and the Southwest District Captain of the Syracuse Police Department. After she was promoted in January of 2015, she became only the fourth female to make the rank of Captain in the Syracuse Police Department. She served as a Lieutenant for approximately 5 years prior to that. As a Lieutenant, she was the Commanding Officer of SPD’s Crime Reduction Team (a street level crime suppression team). She also served as the Lieutenant in charge of Community Relations, the Recruitment Section and the DARE program.

Captain DelFavero also serves on the Board of Directors for Vera House, a local Domestic Violence shelter, counseling, education and advocacy center. She previously served on the Board of Directors for the PBA until her last promotion.

Susan Deshensky - MTA Police Department

Susan Deshensky retired from the MTA Police Department as a Lieutenant, with 23 years of service. She worked in patrol for 19 years, both in Connecticut and New York and supervised the Medical Control Unit for 4 years. Susan previously served as the NYWLE Westchester/NYC regional representative and is currently the Southern Region Director, as well as the secretary.

Casey E. Quinlan - NYS Office of the Attorney General

Casey Quinlan is a Senior Investigator with the New York State Office of the Attorney General. In her tenure with the Attorney General's Office she has investigated both civil and criminal matters. She was an initial member of New York’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force, part of a federal pilot program that has grown into a national initiative aimed at protecting our youth from the dangers that exist in the digital world.

Arlene Sabo currently serves as the Director of Safety and Security at Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY. Sabo has worked in campus law enforcement for the past 30 years, serving as Chief of Police at SUNY Plattsburgh for the last 14 years. She holds a Masters Degree from SUNY Potsdam and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Sabo has served as a past president of the SUNY University Police Chiefs’ Association, and she is a current member of the New York State Association of Chiefs of Police and the International Association of Chiefs of Police.
