Arlene Sabo currently serves as the Director of Safety and Security at Vassar College, a prestigious four-year private institution located in Poughkeepsie, NY.  She began her service at Vassar after completing a 30 year career with New York State University Police.  Serving as Chief of Police at SUNY Plattsburgh the last 14 years. She holds a Master’s Degree from SUNY Potsdam and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia. Sabo has served as a past president of the SUNY University Police Chiefs’ Association and New York Women in Law Enforcement.
