Women officers throughout the United States are still experiencing difficulties in their careers
in Law Enforcement. To date, women still comprise only 13% of all law enforcement officers in
the country. The New York Women in Law Enforcement organization supports all officers
through the promotion of education, the celebration of diversity and the development of future
